I'm interested to know how other users order their front page?

What modules do you place in the the top two rows? Why?

In what order to you place the remaining modules?

Which do you sort by "Hot", "Recent" or "Active"? And why do you choose a specific type of sort?

Are there any modules you exclude and why?

Do you filter? If yes, what do you filter in or out?

No ulterior motives. I'm just nosey.

About like this

All the modules that pertain to selling, buying, auctioning or reviews, which help me decide whether to buy a game or not, are located in the left column. All the other social stuff is on the right. Almost everything is set to Recent so I can see stuff as they arrive. No Hotness, no recently viewed, no comic, no pics, no subdomain meeple links and no Tanga Ad.

Like this:

Forums and GeekLists are set to 50 lines, the rest 10 or 15.

Everything on Recent. Why? Because I will subscribe to something if needed.

Filter? What do you mean?

By filter, I mean to you ever use the large icon across the top to show one type of game. Personally, I don't find them useful at all. I'd find them much more useful if I could filter OUT several different types of games I'm not interested in, like Wargames.

Sort by "recent"

partly because I check pretty regularly. Partly becuase "hot" is not really meaningful to my interests.

I have Hot, Recent, and Active versions of the really important stuff (forums and geek lists) so that I see them all. I took out stuff, but I can't say what anymore because the screen looks way different than it did last time I went into it.

What large icons? I turned those off as soon as they came to be.

On very, very rare occasion, I will use the text menu to choose a single subdomain just to find something (like, if a game is even in that subdomain or what the 18th ranked party game is or something like that). But I immediately switch it back to all boardgames.

I didn't know you could also choose recent, hot, or active within a game group (subdomain).

How do you change the colors of the main screen from within BGG settings? (if the answer is some downloaded doo dad for Firefox, then you can just answer with "can't be done")

Can't currently be done without a browser plug-in script.

I think Sol's got it on his list of things he wants to make available though, so who knows.

The subscription system is so awesome, that I no longer visit the front page.
