The Master contemplates the goo. Great is the goo, but terrible the burden it imposes on the wielder. After the last round (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geekforum.php3?action=viewthrea... ), the Master felt certain one would arise to take his place. But it was not to be. Has he erred? Is his conundrum too difficult, indeed, for the students?
"Will no-one rid me of this troublesome goo?"

Scurra = goldencamel
Rubric = goldencamelgoldencamelgoldencamelgoldencamelgoldencamelgoldencamel
GuyHill = goldencamel
Rynelf = goldencamelgoldencamelgoldencamelgoldencamel (1 used)

There is no Mondo list this round. Instead, any student may spend a camel in return for either a positive or negative list. If, in the next round, none have guessed the rule, the Master will offer the right to buy small hints in return for golden camels. If at the end of that round none have guessed the rule, the Master will disclose the rule and return the goo to general circulation.

Words.... Long and short....

I think the Master is giving clues. I just can't figure them out.

I'll spend a goldencamel in return for a negative list, and request that it consists of two games, please.

The master hears, and offers three such lists:

Mindz, Hearts
Time's Up, MindTrap
Modern Art, Assassins

Oh, okay.... The clues finally sank in, especially that last one.

A list has the Geek Nature if there is no game on the list that has the same number of syllables as another game on the list.

Here is my goldencamel.

JOY! Indescribable sensations of deepest wonder flood the Master as he is translated beyond thismortal sphere! In a flash of goo, the withered sage undergoes spontaneous combustion as the Student declares his enlightenment!

The Students remain there in the Court of the Wise, stunned, no doubt, to find one their number so elevated. Soon, a procession of the Order of Gaming Monks will make their way here, past the Tomb of the Unknown Designer, the much oggled, but little entered, Sub-Temple to the Busen-Memo Goddess, and so past the Grammar Policemen's quarter to this place, to measure the Student for his new Master's robes.

But for now, he remains, shining with the light of wisdom. And goo, of course.

As a tease, I fear - O esteemed and now ex-Master - that I pronounce both _Palazzo_ and _Ingenious_ with 3 syllables.

Ah, but the Master's antique dictionary does not.

I humbly accept the unblinking goo, and promise to treat it with the respect it deserves. Unlike some former masters, I will not bounce, drop-kick, splatter, or otherwise mistreat the all-seeing goo

What I will do, however, is take the weekend off. All eager students should report to the forum Monday morning (EST) for their first instruction.

Thanks to former master Potterama for hosting the round, and thanks also for the helpful hints hidden in the exemplar lists. I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. I briefly toyed with the idea of giving the Master a list with some hard-to-pronounce non-english names on it, but then I recalled (from experience) what my own level of patience was after EIGHT rounds of mastering. (Somebody pleeeease guess the answer for gods sake!)

Say... if I put this goo on my forehead, it makes me look like wow. Weird....

Oh, yeah... Congrats to the once and now Future Master Rubric! Nice work. I'd, um, given up gone on an early spring break. Yeah, that's the ticket.
