After receiving the game a few weeks ago I found that apart from a few people having warped figures, I had a warped board!
I have noticed the card is thinner than other boardgames from FF which may be the cause, however after contacting FF, to my joy, they sent me a replacement board…which when opened was another slightly warped board similar to the first one (which I may add in the same places.
Don’t get me wrong, I think their service is wonderful and they responded to my question very quickly having a bent board, however I now find that when I open my board on the table it will not lie flat on the table!
I can supply pics if anyone wants…
Anyone else have this issue?
Not me but maybe it has to do with the humidity or cold
My pandemic board is warped now due to the cold
I have noticed that if I keep the game standing on it's edge, bookshelf style, that the board has a tendency to warp. I did not think too much of it at first, but every game I have had to "form" it back flat and then the next time it happens again.
I have decided to keep the game flat to avoid some of the warping.
Have not had this on any of my other games so I don't attribute it to the humidity.
The bases on the figures have been less than desirable.
Well this has happened before I opened it and after recieving the replacement (which was in the same warped condition).
I live in the UK and would love to hear if anyone else has this problem...1 board yeah a coincidence but 2?
I can only think something is happening (humidity wise) when it is shipped to the UK...I'm stunned on what has caused both boards to warp?!?
Yep. I had the same thing. The game was stored under normal temperatures and mine is warped to the point that the miniatures don't stand properly on the board. I contacted FFG a few days ago but haven't heard back from them yet.
My board was slightly warped when I first bought it but it is perfectly fine now though. Can't say the same for the minis though. I have two or three that are really warped.

Just was talking to you on the phone - here is the details about the
City of Thieves is a game we took over from AEG, and the process for
replacements for this one game is somewhat different from the other
titles we have. Unfortunately the printer Ludofact does things a bit
differently than we do normally. The contract for the printing didn't
give us either overrun boards, or a percentage of buffer like other
titles we do.
I'm pasting below the instructions they passed along for replacement
boards. Please contact them with your request - let us know if they
don't respond in a timely manner or if there are complications. We'll
try to work with them to get the process expedited.
Thanks for your patience -
