The Ultra Ares Mothership that came in my kids' Battle Box had the stat card incorrectly placed, so it was difficult to read the symbols.

So I decided to fix the problem.

#1 Find the seam and wedge a hobby knife in between.

#2 Wiggle the knife so that the base begins to separate.

#3 Push gently with the blunt end of the knife to knock the base off when you've wiggled all around.

#4 Note that there is a hole and peg.

#5 Line the card up, so that the hole is not covered by the card.

#6 Glue the base back on, putting the peg into the hole and pressing hard all around, so the base snaps shut.

Now you have an easy to read base.

Nice!

This will also come in handy for people wanting to make their own units. Or for making proxy mega forms.

Great job!

This is awesome! I've been waiting for a new yellow lion from the voltron set that had the same problem. Any hints as to where you got a new stat sheet to replace the old one? Or, do I have to bust out my graphic design skills and make my own?

No injuries what-so-ever. It was very, very easy.
