I took the plunge and placed my first order with Adam spielt. It wasn't too big but it was a couple of games that are difficult to come by in the US and games that I've become really interested in playing in the last couple of months. I ordered Wallenstein (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/3307) and Das Zepter von Zavandor (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/13884). The sale price of Wallenstein (14.90Euro) made the difference. Shipped to the US, these games cost me $93USD. The best I could do here might've been through Boards and Bits at $107USD but they don't even have Zepter listed any longer so they've apparently run out of the stock they brought back from Essen. Funagain doesn't have any stock left either.

Although the money has flown, I haven't seen the goods yet and probably won't for at least another week, probably longer. However, I'm confident the package will arrive in good condition based on the other stories I've read from others that have ordered from Adam spielt. Man, I can hardly wait for these to arrive and try them out with the gaming group!

If you get a group order together, and try to hit the 20 kg mark, you get more for your shipping dollar.

If you order 20 kg (of which 16.5 to 15.5 kg is games) you get 1.90 euros/pound (.004172 euros/gram) you can find weights at funagain.
