I really can't decide where to post information or a link regarding an eBay game auction I have going on. Is there a consensus yet? Is it taboo?

I'm sure the masses will hit this hard tomorrow morning when the work week begins, but I'll venture a guess. With the BGG Marketplace in place to help support the site, I'm guessing [FA] posts are frowned upon, at best.

Put it in the marketplace first and see if you can sell it here - then everybody wins!

Thanks for the replies.

Just based on these two replies I've decided that it's best not to do it at all. Maybe I'll post to the rgb marketplace. Things can get a little ornery around here (and most online "communities" I'm sure) and I'm not one who takes great joy from being the bad-boy with the devil-may-care attitude that likes to stir things up. I prefer not to be accused of beating someone's metaphoric child.

Thanks again for the input!

I put it in Chit Chat, though it would be nice to have a place for FS and FA type listings.

One thing I think would be OK:

Post a link to your eBay self in your Profile page here at the Geek.

I don't think that'd be too rude, and I'd be interested to see what other Geeks have up for auction.
