Anyone remember a 1960's-era boardgame (vestigial wargame) called - I think - Swamp Fox?

Really pushing the ol' memory here trying to remember my earliest game. I think I had this even before Green Ghost! wow
What little I remember was that it had standup cardboard Colonial-era soldiers inserted into dyed-red wooden stands - and the slot cut for the cardboard was inevitably too large...

I don't remember the game, but I remember watching the the series on Wonderful World of Disney when I was a kid. Leslie Nielsen (a.k.a. Frank Drebbin) played Francis Marion.
