Last summer I bought this game and promptly lost my copy of the rules. Since there are rules on BGG this is not a terrible handicap, but there are no images/descriptions of the suggested board set-ups that are contained in the rules. Could anyone supply these?

Thanks...!

Re:Board set-ups from Rules?
kubapeet (#465894),

How could you have bought this game last summer? It wasn't published and shipped until late Q1 '05. Was it at a conference? Actually, I believe you are wrong--the suggested board layouts are available online--you only need to download the rules booklet and view page 32. Unless I mistook what you were looking for...

SalladDazed (#467158),

This game has been around for years. I got a copy that had been sitting on the shelf at a gamestore for a long time. If you could tell me where I can find the on-line version of the rules that includes scans of the suggested set-up I'd be much obliged (ie. can you give me a link?)

Re:Board set-ups from Rules?
Until you can get a scanned-in version, maybe this extremely crude representation will help.

F = Farmland
M = Mountain Range
L = Lake
_ = nothing (picture spacing)
o,x,O,X,+ = castles (ALWAYS adjacent to two separate farms (Fs) -- when choosing between top/bottom or left/right space between farms, the labels below are exaggerated in the corresponding direction)

Left to right, top to bottom:

2-player (light green paths only):
_F L L F_
_ _ _ _ _
F FoFxF F
_ _ _ _ _
_F M M F_
_ x _ o _
L F L F L
_ _ _ _ _
_F M F F_

3-player (light green and brown paths only):
_L L F F_
_ _ _ _ _
F FoF F L
_x_ _ + _
_M F M F_
_ _ _ _x_
FoF F L F
_ _ _+_ _
_L F F M_

4-player (all paths):
_F F L F_
_ _X_ _o_
F M F F M
_x_ _ O _
_F F M L_
_o X _ _ _
F L F L F
_ _ _x_O_
_L F F F_

5-player (all paths; initial setup makes use of adjacency to bottom two exterior (drawn on board) farmlands):
_F F L F_
_ _O_ _o_
F M F F M
_x_ _+_ _
_F F M L_
_o_ X _X_
F L F L F
_O_ _x_+_
_L F F F_

Re:Board set-ups from Rules?
dgstone (#468277),

I think I follow this, but one question: don't the set-ups call for specific farmland tiles to be places in certain positions? For example in _F L L F_ aren't those "F's" a Farmland-1 or Farmland-2 and so on?
