New rules:
Given the low level of participation, I think we can move away from daily updates, and instead use "as needed" updates. With that in mind, the rest of this round will go like this:
--When you post a Master list, I will give the correct answer as soon as I see it. (I am on the site frequently, but if it's evening or night in the eastern standard time zone, it will wait til morning most likely).
--When you post a Mondo list, I will leave it up for some arbitrary period of time (at my discretion), but generally at least 24 hours. At that point, I will reveal the answer and award any camels. In other words, submit your mondo guess (via private message to me) at the same time you post the list. Other players should submit their guess as soon as they see the Mondo list, and should not wait for me to ask for guesses.
--Each individual player may have a Master list AND a Mondo list pending at the same time, but no more than one of each. [Edit: Technically, I don't mind if you post a couple of Master lists at the same time just to keep things moving, but please don't overwhelm the poor Master.]
***
If you're a new player, you can still join in. All the information you need is here, so you still have a chance to win. Check the forum for details on rules and past rounds:

****
The current camel count is: rynelf: : Potterama, Octavian: mjwills, SevenSpirits: Yekrats, Tarrant:
Recent incorrect guesses at the Rule: --A list has the Geek Nature if EACH game has an even number of syllables. --A list has the Geek Nature if at least one of its games has Fantasy listed as one of its categories. --A list has the Geek Nature if EACH game has 2, 3 or 4 syllables. --A list has the Geek Nature if EACH game (ignoring the last one) has an even number of syllables.
For future reference, the only thing that needs to be sent privately are Mondo guesses. All lists and camel guesses should be posted directly in this thread.
Here is the current state of knowledge:

Current Mondo lists:
As of this posting, there are no pending Mondo lists. But, check the most recent posts below in case anyone has added one.
****
Remember the new rule -- you can still post a Master list even while your mondo is pending.
What mysteries are shrouded in these lists? Who will find the pattern that only the innocent can see? Will the Master ever get to retire? Time, patience, and intuition will tell....

Oops, sorry. It's fixed.
Don't ask me why I thought it was John. I remember thinking to myself that I should double check before I actually submitted the post, but somehow I convinced myself that I was right.

New list: Master, does this have the GEEK NATURE?
Ever yearning for enlightenment, I humbly offer this list and ask, does it have the geek nature?
More Cosmic Encounter, War of the Ring

This DOES NOT HAVE the Geek Nature.
The top post will be edited accordingly.

Re: BGG Zendo -- Game XII
Oh Master; take my poor camel I beg you. Is it possible that lists have the geek nature if there exists a game in the list that has Fantasy as one of its Categories in the database?

Re: BGG Zendo -- Game XII
Heh. Well, there's the amusing side of the asynchronity: my feeble attempt at a guess is disproved by yekrats' Master list. Perhaps the Master will condescend to provide a different counterexample?

We must have posted within seconds of each other. I suppose you could have withdrawn your camel if you preferred, but just to keep things moving, I will accept the camel and offer this counterexample:
Heroscape, Cityscape
DOES NOT HAVE the Geek Nature, even though Heroscape has Fantasy as one of its categories. First post will be edited to add the new list and deduct one camel.

Response to Master lists:
HAVE the Geek Nature: (Octavian) Melee, Tarot (Octavian) War of the Ring, Melee (mjwills) Wizard
DOES NOT HAVE the Geek Nature: (yekrats) St. Petersburg
Answers to Mondo lists:
(mjwills) Byzantium (rynelf) Sleuth, Venture, Clans, Magna Grecia, Attribute, Meuterer
Neither list has the Geek Nature.
mjwills guessed both correctly, and now has 6 camels. Yekrats guessed 1 correctly, and now has 5 camels. rynelf guessed 1 correctly, and now has 5 camels.
I will add these to the original post.

Re: BGG Zendo -- Game XII
All right, now I'm confused, master, but yet I seek enlightenment. Therefore, could I please inquire about the Geek nature of the following two lists?
Puerto Rico, War of the Ring, A Game of Thrones, Diplomacy, Ticket To Ride, St. Petersburg
War of the Ring, St. Petersburg
Thank you!

The student is perhaps not as confused as he thinks? Both lists HAVE the Geek Nature.

Oh Master, could you disclose the result if one added Taj Mahal to the list?
St. Petersburg, War of the Ring, Taj Mahal

With all due respect to Dr. Knizia, adding Taj Mahal does not affect the result. The list still HAS the Geek Nature.

Man the lack of Geek Nature of Yekrat's list:

Is just throwing many of my thoughts out the window.

Tell me about it. I thought for sure that list would have the geek nature.
Master, could you please give us a clue, or another example/counterexample of something that has the geek nautre, and one that does not? (A couple more "givens"?)
