I haven't seen reference to this anywhere on the Internets, no videos or even in text, so it is my pleasure to break this amazing new development in food to YOU!

--- Roast Tuna Flambe ---
Apparatus:
1 Can of tuna in oil
1 paper towel
1 match (or more if you are not so good at the fire thing)

Method:
1. Open the can of tuna - Do NOT drain the oil.
2. Fold up the paper towel and place on top of the tuna, letting it soak in the oil.
3. Light the paper towel on fire.
4. Watch your awesome can of flaming tuna burn for 20-30 minutes. (bonus points if you cook something on top of this flame).
5. Remove paper towel.
6. Enjoy.

You may be fearful that your tuna will burn after being on fire for so long. Do Not Fear! The tuna will be perfect and awesome. The oil will have been pulled out, and the tuna will be absolutely delicious.
eat it straight, or on a cracker, in a sandwich, or in a salad.

If you are trying to save on heating, or are a hobo living in the street this will also help keep you warm.

(edit: Picture supplied by my cousin who did this today)

Australian BBQ Beer-Chicken

Ingredients:
1 Whole chicken (ideally dead)
1 Can, beer
1 Handful, spices.

Method:
Open beer. Chuck in spices. Ram beer can up the chichens cavity, such that the can is upright, with the chichen 'sitting' on it. Place beer/ chicken array on (previously lit) BBQ.

Results
The heat of the BBQ cooks the outside of the chicken. The inside of the chicken is cooked by the beer/ spice steam emitted from the can. Heat is also transmitted via the can.

Conclusion
Nom!

I gave my dad a special holder for doing beer can chicken on the BBQ, it even comes with a special refillable can so you can put any kind of beer in it. Works really well with a nice stout.

It is the only way he does chicken on the BBQ now.

Delicious!

It's not smokey. I thought it smelled fine, not even very fishy, the main smell is just the oil burning. If you're worried you can always take the can outside to light it. This is a portable cooked meal!

No more nasty instant heat packaged foods. Real clean burning awesome goodness here.

I suppose it should work with anything that is packaged in oil. I make no promises for about the smell of roasting a can of anchovies though.

Definitely worth a shot. This is a whole new world of cooking ideas!
I think I even have a random package of sardines at home to try this with. I know what's for dinner now!

That was my thought. Who buys canned fish in oil? Well, other than survivalists who need a lamp.

Yeah that was the closest thing to this I could find, it's not the same though. This is just turning using it as a lamp. This is not going cook your tuna and turn it into amazingly awesome tasty stuff.

I agree! I much prefer tuna in water, and usually can't stand tuna in oil and couldn't understand why people would buy it. But then somebody told me about this awesomeness and I had to try it.

Trust me as a packed-in-water-tuna guy when I say this; When this is done cooking it does not taste like it was packed in oil. It just tastes incredible

Email Lisa Sedlar. If you convince her to put it on the deli menu, I'll give you a gift card.

I'm buying tuna in oil next time I'm at the store. Any day I light my food on fire is a good day!

It's nice to know that tuna cans in Israel are exactly the same as tuna cans in the U.S., right down to the 1-800 number on the side.

And the roasted figs might nicely complement the tuna.

The ink on a beer can is fired on at 1200 degrees. The hottest it's going to get in the chicken doesn't even approach that.
