No simularities. Hansa is good but Kogge is an awesome game. Somehow overlooked but a complete gem.

They bear little relation to each other. Hansa is a lower middle-weight family game with a primary focus on opportunity management. Kogge is a modestly heavy and opaque set-collecting auction game with a focus on extortion, and network and timing management.
