Actually, there ARE templates in the rulebook, but when I saw them I definitely didn't want to cut them out. I thought I might have to scan them and then print them out...

But, it turns out that each fleet box COMES with the templates on card stock. Nice!

I've seen, however, that there are some fancy plastic templates floating around from looking at various blogs. I'm sure that these will be offered (are offered somewhere?) in the future.

Just checked: The templates are on page 125, with double-sided tokens on 123-124.

I think he means templates that represent the ship models, not turning templates. There are no ship templates in the book.

Ah! I see! Well, I've gone ahead and made some. Currently, the Prussians are up for moderator approval (I have stripes across it to protect any copyright violation). I'm also asking at Spartan to see if this is something that they would approve.

I bought the rulebook, and this is getting back to the first part of this post, but I am looking to try out some of the different forces. Does any know approx sizes of the different sizes of the ships.

Capitol class, massive?
Capitol class, large?
Capitol class, medium?
Small ships?

Thanks alot, Wil

The ships between fleets are different sizes, but here are the sizes for the Rising Sun, to give you an idea:

Frigate: ~1.5 inches
Cruiser: ~3 inches
Battleship: ~4 inches
Sky Fortress: ~4.5 inches
