If anyone here is interested in web comics (and, perhaps, Egyptian lore), check out what an acquaintance of mine from an old, TF-themed message board, has created:

http://www.webcomicsnation.com/akil_anubis/index.php

It's impossible for me to be unbiased (and I don't normally read web comics anyway), but I'm curious what others think.

The artwork's good...but the dialogue not so much.

Shades of Robin's inane exclamations, Batman.

I agree with Paul. Also, some of the scenes/transitions seem disjointed and for me, are hard to follow. However, please take that with a grain of salt as I'm not a comics fan in general.

I think the mingling of the modern/hip characters and language seem out of place. I think it should either be a modern tale or an ancient tale. The mixing of the two is confusing and detracts from the story/quality.
