Mmmmmm..... Beer. Glug glug glug....
Maybe it's because we've been playing a lot of London lately, but while reading this interesting article in the Economist on "Londonism" today, I couldn't help but think of the game. It helped that the subject of the article, ie. London's focus on growth and a relentless pace of infrastructural improvement, and a variable appreciation of the social costs, was essentially the same as the theme of the game.

I finished the article thinking that it had read like a prospectus for an expansion of the game. After all, the buildings and improvements in the current deck of cards don't make it too far out of the 19th century. Is there room for a 'D' deck in London that covers the 20th and early 21st centuries? Or would it take more than a few cards to pull that off?
