It looks kinda fascinating. You try to connect 3 of your pieces together to get points. If you leave a holes in the board you lose points. You roll a die to determine which piece can move. I'm not sure what happens if you no longer have a piece of the correct size.
It seems like it will be much harder to get a series of 3 pieces together with 4 players and possibly too easy with only 2 players, unless the rules change based on the number of players. (for instance, perhaps like Blokus you each play 2 colors when playing 2 player, or maybe the number of pieces to connect changes based on the # of players)

The two player idea you have sounds good and maybe with the caveat that the lower of your two scores is your score. I wonder how that would work.
