We just played our first game (non-jumbo edition). We wanted to play co-op, but wanted to play without any house rules, so we played the solitaire mode (one detective token) together. We had the case solved (with certainty) after about 20 turns, meaning the train had only moved about 10 spaces (1/3 of the board).

Next game, we are going to try moving the train every turn, instead of only when rolling a 4,5,6. That should give us about 20-25 clues by the time we get to Varna, which should be enough. We hope.

Has anyone else tried solitaire (one-detective) mode and found it to be too easy? Do the cases get harder?
