I paint the miniatures for gaming, not for showcase, therefore it´s possible, that the painting is not 100 % correct, because I used the colours, which I had available
I used Vallejo colours (number of colour in brackets).
Remember, you can use always similar colours, if you have not exact the
same available. No uniform looks like exact the other, so many (little) variants are up during war

Step 1: Prime the miniature with black and drybrush with white, to spot the details again.

Step 2: Paint the jacket with German Fieldgrey (830) and the
trousers, cuff, collar with Grey Green (866).
It´s also possible, to use only Field Grey, for all this things.

Step 3: For wooden parts of rifle and sheath of bayonet, use Burnt Umber (941).
Hands and face with any fleshtone, you can use variable colours (Elf skintone 004; Basic scintone 815 or any other)

Step 8: . Finish with some details, you want: Hair/beard with different colours; buttons on the jacket with Bright Bronze (57), lips with a mix of the used flesh tone and a dark red (Gory Red (11).
Paint so many details, you want. Then ink the miniature with Black Shade wash or Sepia Shade wash (try first on one miniature, what you prefer).
The minature is ready for varnish now. But if you want, you can sure
at this time highlight some more details again, and/or fix some bigger mistakes of paint whistle
