I just purchased CC: P. In CC:E the playbook contained an extended example of play. In this game, the examples of play are focused on certain units, rules, etc. I really liked the CC:E version because it took you through an entire turn. Is there anything similar for CC: P available anywhere?

Hi Mike,

I don't know of one, but I think there's a reason for this. CC: P added a few very specific yet detailed rules for situations that could not reasonably happen all at once. For example, Night rules and sogeki hei can't really be explained together in one example. Thus it made more sense for them to provide pretty extensive examples of all of the rules they figure would be troublesome.

That being said, if you played CC:E at all, you should have no trouble playing Pacific. The changes are laid out very specifically in the beginning of the rulebook, and if you keep that handy while playing through your first couple of plays you'll be an expert shortly.

And of course, if you have any questions, the CC forum information specialists tend to be a friendly lot.

Cheers and good luck!

Jacovis
