So I just played the first (single hero) adventure. I ended up on the exit stairs (which don't have squares dilineated, but I played like they were there.

It got to the point were there was a monster on every square (real or imagined) on the tile.

If a monster one tile away is supposed to move but has nowhere to "land" does it just stay still and not so anything? (Supposing that was it's final Tactic)...

*Edit (another question): Oh, and is a Hero considered "adjacent" to itself? I assume not, which makes one of the Paladin's suggested starting powers useless in single player...*

If you can't use a tactic on the monster's card, you just go to the next tactic, whatever that is.

A Hero is not adjacent to him- or herself, so there are Heroes who don't have a useful solo starting power.
