Hi Bob
Yes our website hivemania.com is no longer available and all content has been moved to Gen42, to the Hive Page.
But this has nothing to do with the recent lotusland closer.

We did this because our line of games is growing, it made sense to us to combine all our games on one site.
The old Hivemania site was problematic to update and we found it hard to keep adding content to the site.
We will try and incorporate as much of the content that Hivemania had onto Gen42 including our local online Hive game.
We have also made a point of redirecting all pages to Gen42 to try prevent any dead links.

John

Hi John. No wonder I couldn't find the play vs AI online (java applet) anymore. I suggest you put that back to give users the feel of the game instantly - no registration required. Because of that online play, I just purchased Hive & expansion.

All the information, plus more, that was available on the hivemania.com site is now available at the company's website Gen42 Games and can be found at http://www.gen42.com/hive.

John Yianni was right to say that it was hard to update the same information on both sites so the decision was made to move it away from hivemania.com. If you have bookmarked the old links, these will now be directed to the relevant Gen42 Games web pages.

You can still access the local online Hive game if you have bookmarked the old site's name, i.e. www.hivemania.com/play/?0 or the very old www.hivemania.com/vgame, these will be directed to the new sites' name to http://www.gen42.com/hive-local-online-play, however you now need to register to play for free and it's now best to bookmark this site with the new link. Please note, all of your details are strictly kept on Gen42 Games site and nowhere else. Please see our privacy policy (http://www.gen42.com/privacy-policy).
