I'm going to be going on a mission trip with my church to Zimbabwe in June this year, we are going to be holding youth rallies throughout the city of Harare. I was hoping to bring a few pocket-sized board games to play with the high school students there. I was wondering if you guys could recommend a few games for me to bring.

Thanks so much!

I saw pale kings and princes too, Pale warriors, death-pale were they all; They cried—‘La Belle Dame sans Merci Hath thee in thrall!’

If you want to bring a wargame for some variety, a good (free) PnP wargame that is really simple is Postcard from the Revolution.

Another good compact (though not quite pocket-sized) PnP is Dune Express.

And, yeah, Zombie in my Pocket is fantastic!

Well they aren't exactly "Pocket" games but what about Carcassonne Travel or Catan Travel?
You might as well introduce them to two of the classics.
Another game I would bring, and you may laught at this, is a set of Double Six Dominoes.
It would be a relatively small package to bring. You would be amazed how many people love the game once they learn it,especially if they are non-gamers!!!

You might want to check out some of these...they're good card games that don't have a lot of rules, so they should be able to be taught/learned fairly easily...
