Subject: Point unit troop quality rss

If casualties reduce the troop quality of your point unit, does the success number also adjust during the combat or does the success number remain the same during the combat? The former might require you to roll each die one at a time. We tend to roll them all at once.

There should be no need to roll dice one at a time.
Since all defenders fire as a group before all attackers, yes the damage they inflict may affect the attackers' eventual to-hit numbers. But since you only compute your success numbers at the moment your particular block attacks, any defenders are done firing by then and your own rolls will not affect your own hit numbers.

During ground fire, all units and assets of the firing side fire, the total hits are determined, and then the hits are applied. Troop quality will not change during the firing.

The same applies when firing artillery.
