Re: New US Army unit microbadges available
Very nice! I actually already have mine displayed, it's the last microbadge on the right hand side - the US Army 99th Division. I display it for two reasons. First, it was the organization I belonged to for most of my time in the Army, though it was known at that point as the 99th ARCOM (Army Reserve Command). Secondly, it was the division that my uncle Carl served in during World War Two, including its time during the Battle of the Bulge. Let's hear it for the Checkerboard Division!!!

Re: New US Army unit microbadges available
Assuming that the Screamin' Eagle has already been done all I need is the 10th Mountain and all of the AC divisions I have been assigned to will be out there!

If someone gets around to the 75th and 91st Divisions then every Division patch I have worn will be covered.

Edit: fixed a double 'the'

That's great!
Like Chris said there should be an Olive-Drab background, can you make it or do you need help?

Chris, I made one for the 32nd, just the red arrow, no background

I think the "Tough 'Ombres" and "Red Arrow" both look good, but I also thought they were both on OD backgrounds. The 90th was square, and the 32nd was a rectangle.

And I never even attempted the 2nd ID. Lookin' good!

Officially the unit is the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry).

The closest to a nickname I know of is just calling it the 10th Mountain.

Climb to Glory is the motto.

Chris,
The 32nd patch is a weird one, I've been looking into it.
Sometimes you see just the Red Arrow and sometimes you see the OD background.
The shoulder patch for the modern 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Wisconsin guard has a background....however...on their website you can also see that they sometimes use just the Red Arrow for signs and decorations. I've never seen that, I don't ever remember seeing just a "Red One" used for 1st Infantry Division stuff, it's always used with the OD shield background (and I served with the BRO both at Ft Riley and Germany)

Anyway, here it is
From gallery of tc237
(much, much more difficult to get it right then I thought it would be )

7th Infantry Division and
From gallery of tc237
34th infantry Division microbadges were done and submitted last week but are still pending approval.

Next will be
From gallery of tc237
10th Mountain Division,
From gallery of tc237
32nd Infantry Division,
From gallery of tc237
90th Infantry Division, then I will have to make the Armored divisions (1,2,3,5).
You guys like?
Any others?
(30th ID thumbsup)

Don't want to flood the microbadge approval system so I'm taking it slow with submissions.

You're missing the Brave Rifles of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment!

And, although I'll probably be the only one who buys it, I'd like to see the 39th Brigade patch...

The 42 has two different patches ... Before and after WWI

Anyone who was not in the 42nd division know what the difference is?
