To the vocal faction who likes to retreat Osgiliath to Pelargir - Do I recall correctly that you like to also muster once or twice in Pelargir? If, after doing this, the Haradrim put two elites and eight regulars in Umbar bluffing(?) the Corsairs card, what do you do with your Pelargir force?

Leave them in Pelargir, but still muster in DA (in case of Corsairs).

Like the stereotypical Rohan army, the Pelargir army is well-placed to do any number of things. These include retaking MT or DA, taking Umbar if the Corsairs sail away, threatening Mordor, or causing a general nuisance in Osgiliath.

The point is that they are very versatile and threatening.

But what do you do, if

a) the SP marches up to them with a large Southron force?
- Fight one round and then retreat to Dol Amroth?

b) the SP takes Osgiliath?
- Help reinforce MT?
- Muster some more and hope for 'Help Unlooked For'
- Stay put untill they attack your force, in which case you'll fall back to Dol Amroth?
