Since yesterday afternoon, I have been having issues with Google Chrome on my work computer. I can't use the "Quick Reply" and "Quick Quote" options but can click Reply and Quote.

In my subscriptions, it won't let me "Mark Read" anything I want to skip over. I also can't thumb anything.

When I do any of these, the bottom message comes back as javascript:void(0);.

Also strange is that Google Chrome works just fine on my computer at home.

Re: Is there a java update conflicting with Google Chrome?
Java and Javascript aren't related.

Do you use the same version of Chrome at home and at work? (For example, the "developer channel" on one vs. the stable builds on another.)

FWIW, Chrome (version 12.0.725.0 dev) works fine for me.

Not that I am aware of. Both were loaded at the same time several months ago. The Chrome at work, worked up until yesterday afternoon.

Re: [BUG] Is there a javascript update conflicting with Google Chrome?
Any updates on this?

I still have issues on my work computer. I also have the same bug on My Evo phone (not sure what browser Android is using). Basically it appears that anything that uses javascript isn't working in these locations.

For whatever reason, no issue at home where I have the same version of Chrome loaded.

It sounds like you may have JavaScript disabled or blocked. Is there a red X next to the star icon in the address bar? If so, click the X and then click "allow scripts on boardgamegeek.com" or something similar to that.

FWIW, I use Chrome and the site works fine for me.

No red X and I went into options to verify that it is allowing all sites to run javascript.

Do you have any ad blockers installed? What plugins do you have installed?

I don't have either to my knowledge. Literally, it was working one moment and the next time I logged in, it wasn't working. Works on Explorer just fine. And works on Chrome at home. But apparently, it is just me since everyone else can do what I can't!

Can you check the javascript console for any errors? View/Developer/Javascript Console (or just press ctrl-alt-j)

Well I swear I did that already. But it worked this time. modest Thanks.

Now to see if it works on the phone too.

OK, so it worked. Not sure what it was that tripped up two different devices at the same time. Must have been the Madness.
