Played last night for the first time. It was fun for the kids, even though (or maybe because) it's almost completely luck based. The concept is pretty simple. You race around the track trying to finish first. You get to add your color tiles to the dice as you go along, increasing your odds of moving forward. There are orange stripes that you can "boost" to if you roll orange.

The most challenging part of the game was physically moving the pieces around. The cars themselves take up about 3 lego bumps, but the stand that the cars sit on only occupy one. Each move is supposed to be one bump, and with four players all the cars were on top of each other. The rules state that you simply move the car forward, but it's really unclear how to handle situations where a car could fit if you turn them a certain way, but would get bumped ahead if you turned them a different way.

Another challenge with the game is the optional rule about moving the short cuts. It seems neat, but the pieces for the short cuts fit in only a few select parts of the board, and we ended up with many short cuts going nowhere, which defeats the purpose.

While the kids seemed to enjoy it I doubt it is something I would play with other adults. The pieces are challenging to manipulate and the rules are not clear about some aspects.
