Are you able to play your cards on other players in Multiplayer? Take for instance, an attachment, could you play one another players hero? Could I play my Steward of Gondor on my teammates Eowyn?

Yes, but remember you can only play Ally cards on yourself.

I agree. And I love that it really feels co-op. The cards in your hand really matter a lot to your teammate.

Is there a post by FFG that says yes? Because the rulebook on page 12 says that allies and attachments go face up into the play area of the person playing them. I assume that if card text says otherwise it's fine but the basic rule indicates you cannot play allies or attachments into another player's play area.

So if that has been altered I'd love to know that we've been playing incorrectly.

Rulebook pg 25
Quote:
Control and Ownership
A player “owns” his heroes and the cards that he has
chosen for the player deck he is playing. A player
“controls” all cards that he owns, unless another player
or the encounter deck takes control of the card through
a game effect. Any time a card leaves play, it reverts to
its owner’s hand, deck, or discard pile (as directed by
the effect forcing the card out of play).

When a player plays an ally card, it comes into play
under his control and is placed in his play area. If
another player takes control of that ally, it is moved to
the controlling player's play area. Ally cards cannot be
played under the control of another player, they can
only change control through card effects.

When a player plays an attachment card, he has the
option of giving control of that card to another player
by attaching the card to one of that player’s characters.
Players always assume control of attachments that
have been played on their characters. If control of
that character changes, so does the control of any
attachments on that character.

Keeping track of who owns what
If two players come together each having brought cards from their own decks (by which I mean a set of cards purchased separately and owned by separate players), and in play the cards move around between players like this, is there any easy way to sort them apart at game end, so that each player leaves with the cards he brought?

Play different spheres? Have each player sleeve their cards with different styles of sleeves?
