Placeholder for Work In Progress:

Arg!

2-6 Players
20 minutes

Components:
12 Ship Cards
30 Cannon Cards
10 Sail Cards
22 Map Cards
4 Crows Nest Cards
6 Amulet Cards
4 Curse Cards
14 Treasure Cards
4 Island Cards
8 Sea Cards
1 Curse Die

Goal:
Amass the most Treasure

General Summary of Play:
Setup
Each player receives up to 3 Pirate Ships.
Each player receives 3 Cannon Cards
Each player receives 3 random Cannon/Sail/Map/Amulet/Crows Nest cards
Create three draw decks with the remaining cards (1.) Treasure/Curse, 2.) Cannon/Sail/Map/Amulet/Crows Nest, and 3.) Island/Sea)

Turn Summary
1.) Draw 1 card
2.) Flip a Sea/Island Card and place on top of any previous Sea/Island Cards.
3.) All Pirates set their sails (simultaneously)(play variable sail cards for their ships)

When a Sea Card is present, do one of these for each of your ships:
4a.) Sail ships (move any number of your ships to center of play area (they are now vulnerable to attack))
4b.) Return ships to your Cove (your play area)(they are now safe from attack)
4c.) Attack any sailing ship that is slower--has less sails--than your ship
--Play any number of cannon cards (simultaneously)
----Win: Their ship sinks along with its cannons, sails, and treasure/curse
----Lose: Your ship sinks along with its cannons, sails, and treasure/curse
----Tie: No loss to either player

or

4d.) Pass your turn

When an Island Card is present, do one of these for each of your ships:
4e.) All ships that were already sailing may search the island for treasure
--Play completed Map Card sets
----Draw Treasure Card(s)/Curse Card(s)
----Place Treasure Card(s) face down on your ship (secret)
----Place Curse Card(s) face up on your ship (public)

or

4d.) Pass your turn

5.) If cursed, roll the Curse Die (1/6 chance of sinking ship).

The game ends when either the Treasure/Curse Deck is depleted.
The winner is the Pirate with the most treasure.

Notes:
Crows Nest cards are "instants" that can muck-up an opponents attack.
Curses cancel all treasure on the cursed ship(s).
Amulet cards remove curses.

Rules to follow.

Early feedback welcome!
