There are symbols on some of the character cards (Diamond, Swirly). I can't find any reference to them in the rules or player aids. What do they mean?

Congatulations, Kim! You are the first to ask about our mysterious little symbols on the Hero cards. Those refer to the Green Diamond and Blue Spiral agencies ..... more on those as the storyline continues with the planned expansions. From a production stand point, we had to include the symbols on the cards with this initial game, as they will have gameplay effects in future games of the series. Thanks! Hermann

The green diamonds are first noted for the "historical" set up optional rule [16.3] on the back (at the bottom) of the play aid card.
