No you did not get a factory second. The spinner comes apart and the top piece flips over to show the tie breaker face. Be careful to orientate the spinner needle along the long piece of the cut out so that the needle is not bent when you pull the two pieces apart. I assumed I had received a factory second and added a die for tie breaking, odd numbers for the inside lane and even numbers for the outside lane. Then I dropped the spinner and it came apart revealing the two faces. I have decided to continue using the die for tie breaking in order to better preserve the spinner.
