New to Mage Knight Dungeon, I was wondering which mage Spawn you would consider the best bang for your buck (or spawn points)?

Thank you, this will be very helpful in picking our mage spawn.

Best bang for the buck are Imps. Not because they're powerful, but because they're so cheap that when one of them shows up you know that whatever comes with them will be far nastier than it would be normally. The various Knolls are good to have for the same reason.

The 10-15-20 point Skeletons can hit remarkably hard for their costs due to their Weapon Master ability, but they go down quickly when you hit them back.

Animated Muds are pretty weak offensively but take a long time to finish off.

Beyond that, just about anything under 30-35 points is good to have because you'll see them the most often, and don't be afraid to pick out the ones that you think look the best too. The files section has several files showing all of the available Mage Spawn with their stats, so you can compare them easily.

magma guardians are really hard to take down at low levels and especially at range. standard ones are like 14 points and 17 defense, +2 against range with battle armor.

my friend likes anything with dodge... b/c he dodges 90% of the time...

tormented soul was a lot of fun if used right.
