Besides Nuclear War, which I love, I can't really think of many post-nuke games. Maybe Ice war, or Ogre, Supremacy(Pre-up-to-nuke). Of course one of my favorite RPG's is morrow project, which is an excellent post-nuke game, but an RPG none the less. Definitely an underdeveloped game genre from the 70's- 80's. Almost miss the cold war tension, almost. Made for interesting times

Gammarauders is wacky....was OK when I played several years ago.

Nuclear Winter (by Greg Costikyan) is fun but very short. I haven't been able to find the sequel tho.

And I think there's a Risk variant with the nuclear option.

Edit: You might also check out Fallout Warfare -- it looks like it fits the genre (but I haven't played it myself).

I know this was intended to be about board games but I can't resist adding Fallout (and I guess Fallout 2) to this forum since the heading only specifies games. They are EXCELLENT RPG computer games which may be a bit dated due to their age but I haven't seen anything like the level of atmosphere and depth to a game. Just thought I'd throw this post out there to see what people thought and to make others aware of this game if they didn't know it existed.

I've always wanted to find a good post-nuke game.

Necromunda does not specifically mention nukes but does have that feel.

is a geeklist that might have some interesting post-nuke items.

is all about cars with guns- rush & crush is the only one I've played.

Oops...saw the reference to Necromunda and didn't follow the link!

Oh well, at least I dodn't list my own geeklist a second time!

I'll add that any games in the Judge Dredd universe is post-apocalyptic. "The Cursed Earth" is a radioactive zone that covers most of the U.S., but the non-RPG only game so far that could cover it is "Gangs of Mega-City One"

One of my favorites, Car Wars was set Post-Nuclear. Not much of a true Nuclear war but there were a few that had been tossed about in the setting.

I've always been a big fan of Morrow Project also. Did you know its being re-released with new adventures? Don't know if they are going to change the background due to the changes in the world since then.

I did not know this. Interesting. I guess they had to do some updates since we are living in the morrow project today, and I'm sure I'm not one of the frozen chosen.

Not sure if it counts, but Wreckage is pretty fun. It has that Mad Max feel.
