EDIT: The winner has been picked. Go here to see who won!

Wow! This 'contest' has hit a milestone! I've been running it now for 5 years. While the original intent of the contest was to share the good fortune in my life, it's amazing to see how things can take a total 180 degree turn in such a short time. But it actually makes me happy to be doing this for such a great community of people. Thank you for your outreach to me in my dark times.

The rules are the same. In fact they are copied from last years ARK thread, and the previous one, and I'm sure all the ones back to the first:

Well, it's that time of year again. Someone is going to get a free game.

Here are the rules:

1. This is open to everyone worldwide. I hate contests that are only open to the US, especially ones for the continental US only.
2. Post the game, $30 or less, you would want me to send to you.
3. I will pay shipping for the game. This isn't included in the $30 for the game. So, if shipping is $20 to you, then I will spend $50.
4. Post by 3pm MST (-7 GMT) Saturday July 30th. This one is running for a bit longer since it is starting in the middle of the week. I have to push the time I select the winner back a few hours as I have something going on that I'm not sure I'll be home by noon.
5. I will randomly pick a user and will send them their game.
6. Just remember to do something nice for someone in the future, even if you don't win.

I hope everyone has fun with this. I know I do. Others have suggested that I donate a game to a local charity. Trust me, I already do a lot things for my community.

If you are in a country other than the US, please post a link to a local game store/supplier that I will purchase the game from to save on shipping costs. But, if no local store is available, I'll just mail the game from the US. Again, someone, no matter where, has the chance to win a game.

NOTE: Remember that the game must be $30 or less. If you want a game that costs more than that, I will chip in $30, but I won't pay shipping. And the winner is randomly selected. I'm not choosing anyone. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator to make it fair for everyone.

PS. If you feel like donating games or also giving away a game, go right ahead. The more the merrier.

Don't know exactly what is going on in your life, Troy, but I wish you the best in weathering your personal storm. It's extremely generous of you to do this every year and it just this kind of thing that makes me proud to be a member of this community.

I was tempted to put in a selection for myself, then realized that I'm quite sure there are others here who would more greatly benefit from a new game. This realization was due in part to the example of your own largesse.

Much luck to you and to whomever is the lucky winner here...

Very nice of you to be doing this again. I'll be sure to continue doing nice things for people.

If I'm lucky enough to be selected, I'd like Power Grid: Brazil/Spain & Portugal.

Thanks!

I just want to say, God, on behalf of all of us thank you for all of the good things we do in your name, like charity and forgiveness. That’s an idea we would never come up with. That’s for sure. You know that better than anybody.

Ooh, how exciting. goo

My pick: Biblios

My FLGS: J&J Superstore - highly recommended to fellow Geeks in Southern Ontario
(Great service, good selection, and competitive prices for a brick and mortar store)

Thank you for your generosity. Even if I am not fortunate enough to win, I'll be sure to pay it forward.

Cheers,
Cris

Thanks for you continued generosity Troy!

Macao is $29.99 at CSI when it is over $40 everywhere else. If for some inexplicable reason they raise their price to match everyone else I'd go for Egizia instead.
