He's used a quote that is quoted in so many other films, people are often unaware where it was originally used too (hint: It was not Blazing Saddles).

I have the same problem with these things. What good are they if they can't be easily put on your shirt?

I intend to go to a crafts store where I must be able to find some sort of shirt-pin attachment I can glue to one side of each badge.

What have others done to make the badges wear-able?

(But I do not want to harm the original ones.) Maybe I should copy them and make some badges which can be attached?

We put magnets on ours... didn't bother us to glue the magnets to em.

Hm, if you really didn't want to harm the badge, you could get a plastic sleeve name tag holder, and just put the badges in the sleeve. Would not look as slick though.

Also if anyone goes with magnets get nice strong ones, we used this adhesive backed strip magnet stuff that is barely strong enough, and the badges fall off easily and don't work with thick material.

Yep, I just glue-gunned a magnet to one side of the badge. If I wanted to revert, then you can just have it lying nice side up.

You can get badge pins with adhesive backing in craft stores really cheaply.
