Designed for Solitaire Print and Play Contest.

SLIMES OF D (or: SLIMES ATTACK !! )
A 20 minutes, ONE player slime-defense card game
No bookkeeping, NO DICE: just you, the cards and a token to defend !!

1. INTRODUCTION
This is the story of a small but crucial battle in the Great War of D.
While waiting for the Heroes to find the Amulet of D'eugor, the Black Knight sends a special force to destroy the Stone of D. The Stone of D is hidden in a small cave in the depths of the northern mountain, protected by the Mage of D. To buy time, the Mage of D casts a mighty defensive spell to drive all dark forces from the area. For a while, the Black Knight's minions are held back, but then they find that one creature can penetrate the barrier: the lowly slimes! Now, as the slimes creep ever closer, the Mage of D must use the power of Fire, Earth, Water and Air to protect the Stone of D!!

2. THE MISSION
As the Mage of D, with the power of Fire, Earth, Water and Air, you must hold your ground by repelling the Slimes until the King Slime arrives, and then defeat him to win the game !!

3. THE CARDS (54 cards)

Slimes of D is ready. Here is module:

Fixed the module. Here is the new version.

https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B0WBVnUE4NbHMTI2NzgzOTgtMjd...

There were problems with this module. Specifically how the cards are drawn and moved around. When you select a card it will make all the cards underneath it not visible. You may need to zoom out the screen just to store cards.

Sorry. It was the best that I could do.

Also, in the lower left hand corner are some meeples that can be moved and adjusted to track life left for each slime. Use them to track life for each slime left.

When using your special attacks, does the monster immunity to that attack count?

in 5.4. Gameplay: Mage Action in b) ATTACK: ...
If that Slime has a Resistance for that type of Damage Card, the damage from that card becomes 0 and immediately discard that Damage Card.
A monster's resistance is used only after a Slime gets a Damage Cards. If that Damage Card has the same type with that Slime's Resistance, the damage becomes 0 and discard that Damage Card.
As explained in 3.1. About the Cards : Power Cards (Power Card picture) and 7.FAQ number 2 & 3: you can still Attack or Push a Slime with a Fire Resistance using a Fire Power Card.

Cheers!

It's used with Vassal. Once you download Vassal, you can run the mod through it.

b) ATTACK
Choose a Slime in the same Area with your Mage then choose 1 Power Card from your hand and put the Power Card behind the chosen Slime, that Power Card becomes a Damage Card for that Slime.

...

Example:
Your Mage is in Area [1] with Slime S4 Earth (HP=15, resistance: Earth, weakness: Fire).
Your Mage ATTACK that Slime with 4 Fire, put that card below the Slime as Damage Card.
Then your Mage ATTACK that Slime with 4 Water. The total damage is : (4x3)+4=16, the Slime is defeated! Discard the Slime card and both Damage Cards to the Discard Pile.

In the rule it states that you use 1 Power Card to damage the Slime but in the example you show the mage using two power cards.

Is this a mistake or does it mean that the mage can use 1 or 2 power cards to damage a slime? Or can a mage take an action multiple times?

5.4. Gameplay: Mage Action
There are many things a Mage can do, see your Mage Card. Do one by one as you want in any order, in any combination. After you finish, continue to 5.5. Gameplay: Mage Refresh.

Yes, you use 1 card to ATTACK a Slime. But in Mage Action Phase (as explained above) you can choose to ATTACK then ATTACK then ATTACK, etc (as long as you have the card to do that).
So in that Example above, the Mage ATTACK, then ATTACK again, then the Slime is defeated.

Cheers!
