I am looking for games whose boards are blank or mono colored with large hexes. Three games that come to mind are Memoir 44 (I have),Tikal (OOP), and Survive (OOP) .

Are there any others come to mind that are perhaps in print and more affordable?

Thanks,
Kurt

I may have printed out a couple 2x3 or 3x4 or 3 x 5 blank hex sheets wit big hexes, 2.25" or 4", back when I had access to a wide format b&w printer. Send me a PM if interested.

You can create your own blank hex sheets:

Battle Cry uses a blank board similar to Memoire 44.

There was a Games Workshop game called Mighty Empires which was full of cardboard hexes that made varied nations over which to fight. It`ll be on ebay but GW have made the hexes free to downlaod.

Have a look at the Games Workshop site.

is all about games with large hexmaps. Several of them are relatively blank.

I bought some blank hex sheets from Mayfair Games. They are unprinted (or printed blank) Settlers hexes.

Depends on how large a hex you want. Giogames (VlE, War to Axis, & Rebel) use about a 1.75 where Battle Cry size hexes are 2.2 inch. Mighty Empires by GW came with very large generic hexes ala Settlers of Cataan.

There are generic hex playmats you can buy with various sized hexes. It all depends on what you're trying to accomplish.
