          ~ FEEDING THE CUBS ~


A Werewolf and her two little Cubs wander into the village. The cubs are starving and the Werewolf takes great risks to try and feed her young ones. Because of this, some smart villagers have been able to spot her and a hunt is unleashed. The Werewolf however is extremely aggressive and she will protect her cubs to death. Meanwhile a seer who specializes in rooting out cute little Wolf Cubs is secretly trying to find her young ones...

Disclaimer: this automod template is still in test phase. Balance is not guaranteed. Suggestions to improve the roleset and other comments are welcome!


Roles (total 10):


Good Aligned (total 7):

1 Aux Seer - The Aux Seer can target a player each night to view for Cute Little Wolf Cub/Not Cute Little Wolf Cub. The Aux Seer will only get a positive result when viewing one of the two Wolf Cubs.

1 Hunter/Priest - The Hunter/Priest defeats evil parity and can view one dead player each night to see that player's exact role. (This role is named Hunter in Cassie)

5 Villagers - The Villagers can target a player each night to view for Wolfmother/Not Wolfmother. One Villager is guaranteed to receive a positive result when viewing the Werewolf. Two Villagers are guaranteed to never get a positive result. The other two Villagers may or may not get a positive result when viewing the Werewolf.
(Clarification: 1 villager that is able to get a positive result is guaranteed to be in the game. The other 4 villagers are randomly chosen from a pool of 6 Villager Roles, 2 of which are able to get a positive result and 4 of which are never able to get a positive result.)

Evil Aligned (total 3):

1 Werewolf - The Werewolf can kill one player each night. The Werewolf knows the ID of the Wolf Cubs. The Werewolf is brutal.

2 Wolf Cubs - The Wolf Cubs know each other's ID's and know the ID of the Werewolf. When the Werewolf dies one of the cubs will be promoted to Werewolf and will be able to kill a player each night. If the first Wolf Cub dies, the other Wolf Cub will be promoted as well.

The Seer receives a random negative view on N0. Villagers do not get a N0 view.


Role Reveal:

Roles will not be revealed on death.


Victory Conditions:

Good: All good aligned players will win when the Wolf Cubs are killed.

Evil: All evil aligned players will win when parity is reached. The Wolf Cubs count towards parity. The Werewolf does not count towards parity.


Lynch Rules:

Each day players vote for one player to be lynched. The player receiving the most votes is killed. If there is a tie between two or more players, the tied player with the longest held last vote is killed.


Deadlines:

Dusk is at 3:00pm BGG time. Votes cast with this time-stamp are counted. Votes cast after this time are invalid. Votes made during the night phase are invalid.

All votes must conform to the Cassandra Vote Tally System rules. (Will be posted once the game starts). If all living players vote nightfall it will speed up dusk.

Dawn is at 4:00pm BGG time. All night actions must be submitted in the Cassandra Chat System before this time.

If all living players (including those without night actions) click on the 'Lock Game Actions' button it will speed up Dawn.


Other Rules:

Do not post the content of your Mod Chat room to the game thread. You may summarize, but direct copying is not allowed. Consider that like showing your card to the group in a face-to-face game.
Please limit posts made after you have been killed, since there is no
moderator on duty to police such things, it would be better to refrain

The Automod system is in Beta Testing. There may be unexpected or strange errors or results or things may change from game to game, so make sure you always read the rules. Please direct any concerns, questions, or improvment suggestions to Melsana or Jmilum.

Tiebreaker: longest held last vote
Lynch time: 3:00pm
Night Action Deadline: 4:00pm
Weekend Policy: This game will not run over the weekend.

Are all positive views true? Meaning, are there any viewers who can view a non-wolf as positive (paranoid, random, or insane)?

Also, cubs are viewed as negative? Positive can only be on the current NK-ing wolf?

What is the timing of the night order wrt viewing/NK?

I really like the way you are manipulating the parity (non-parity evil RSS in Exotic and now parity Cubs but not mother wolf). This is fun stuff.

I just read the other game. Cassie called it a win for good when Mommy-wolf was lynched. Did that "feature" get resolved?

Correct.

I'm always trying to be as thorough as possible when discussing rules.


Well not exactly... the template shows the wolf in the "Lycantrope Den" so that will be a second chat room he gets... now it will be just him, but once he dies the cub will be promoted to join it, and can see anything that the original wolf wrote in that room. I could have sworn that detail was in the rules, but I couldn't find it when I just did a quick scan.

On another note, I'll be watching this game in case there are any bugs.

The Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally System

Your Moderator has enabled the Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally system
for this game. In order for it to function correctly, your votes will
need to be formatted correctly. The following rules will explain what
you will need to do:

Players
1. All votes must be bolded

2. The entire vote statement must be bolded and enclosed in bracekts: [vote jmilum]

3. Only one vote per post.

4. If you [vote nightfall] your vote will be locked (voting
nightfall is allowed in the same post as a vote for a player, but it
must come after it, this does not violate Rule #3)

5. Vote tallies will be automatically posted to the game thread hourly
if the tally has changed. The Tally and Vote Logs (for each game day)
are also available on the Cassandra game page.

6. If your vote is not counted be sure to check the Vote Log page and
see if it was marked invalid and why.

7. Case does not matter and simple typos will not cause the vote to fail.

8. You may [vote no lynch] if your game allows it.

9. Non voting players will be listed in the tallies. This will only be
correct if the Moderator notes which players have been killed (see below)

10. Editing a vote post will invalidate the vote and it will not be counted.


Moderators
1. The moderator will need to post [Dawn] when the day begins
(after the night results are posted) and [Dusk] when the lynch
deadline has passed and the day is over. Votes will not be counted
after [Dusk] has been posted. They will be registered again
after [Dawn] is next posted.

2. You may include a day number in the dawn and dusk post for
informational purposes, but it will not be used by the system.
Cassandra will increment an internal counter each time it sees
[Dawn] no matter what day is shown in a dawn post (i.e.
[Dawn 3] the three is allowed but ignored)

3. After dusk has been posted, the Moderator may go to the game page
on Cassandra to request a Final Tally to be posted before the normal
scan period has elapsed (i.e. Game Y gets scanned at 45 min. after the
hour, if it lynches at 7pm the moderator may request a tally to be
posted from the game page before 7:45pm. it will also be posted
regardless of whether or not it has been changed since the last
posting) - Do this by clicking on the 'Retrieve Final Lynch Time Vote' link.

4. You will need to note which players were killed via the lynch or at night by
either posting [killed jmilum] in the thread, or by going to the game
page and editing the player list. When posting in the thread, be sure to post
[dusk] before posting the lynch kill, and post [dawn] before
posting the night kill.
Example:
A. lynch time has passed so post [dusk]
B. goto the game page and select a final tally to be posted
C. check the final tally and post [killed melsana]
D. after the night deadline has passed post [dawn]
E. post the night kill with [killed kima]
