I have two L quality Eugene 1809 infantry counters. Is this intentional, or as in many other duplicate names, is one of them supposed to be a cav?

Well, on the 1809 campaign board, on the late arriving force instructions it is written "Eugene (2)".

So there has to be 2 Eugene counters.

I suspect the fact that 2 infantry counters bears Eugene's name simply accounts for historical accuracy. I am guessing that it means Eugene probably led two divisions in the 1809 campaign.

Some commanders have more than one counter. This is to account for the size fo their force or other historical factors.
