Absolutely nothing is "wrong" with BGG, but a little competition never hurts. I spend a lot of time here, and my only gripe is the user interface can be difficult to learn for anyone new. I think Boardgaming.com could provide a better avenue for new gamers... but could be valuable for veteran's as well, and they are open to suggestions. I like the way they've tried to make adding content a game. They need more prizes, but it is still just in Beta.

Happy Gaming!

That's something...advertising for the new competition, on the competitor's website, for free.

I suppose it's logical, but I'm not sure it's ethical.

Except, I don't work for Boardgaming.com. So, it's not really advertising in the strictest sense of the word. I just thought people would like a chance to sign up before it closes to registration for a few months.

I've been on BGG for awhile, check my profile. No harm, no foul.

BTW I don't think BGG has anything to worry about. shake

Uuuh, okay. I'm not sure what that has to do with someone putting down another board game info site for the sole reason that it isn't their favorite, but you go with it.

It doesn't. I'm just pointing out that the pot is also black.

What? How is me taking a few minutes to make a personal avatar being elitist? I think you may need to look the word up. I'm outta here.
