First the Space Shuttles were mothballed, and now since we can't seem to successfully get supplies into space, it looks like the ISS will be unmanned fairly quickly. Oh well, we all knew that mars wasn't a good place to raise our kids anyway. Maybe someday we'll try our manifest destiny into space, but not this generation.

I'm good. I'm pretty sure I have a 'math' app around here somewhere.

Here's to the remote hope that we are invaded and enslaved by aliens. At least then we'd stop fighting over petty ideologies and get to see some of the universe.

Why spend money on a space program when there is an asteroid heading this way and a pole shift currently underway that will disrupt all computer technology in orbit and on the ground that we are currently investing in? Never mind "space"... things might get funky down here for some time.

Apophis has a pretty low probability of coming too close, iirc (just a little bigger than most?). Ooh, you got me scrambling to look up geomagnetic reversal again and I forgot magnetic north is heading for Siberia at 40 miles/year and accelerating.

I don't recall space journalists of the 1960's ever using the word "anomaly" so much.
