Any suggestion re how to record a game? Has anyone thought of a notation system that can be used that factors in all the possible scenarios and moves?

you could do worse than adapt the system boardspace.net uses to record the games. The roamer moves are obvious A1 A2 and so on, and the barrier locations are notated as H or V and name the lower-left square.

how does it represent forced, double forced and capture positions? I've actually not paid attention to the notation on boardspace .. i've just played the game! pehaps i should focus more on what's happening . lol

in the online notation they're not in the record, they're deduced by
the replay applet.
