Hi all.I am thinking of buying Airships by Queens Games.I play a lot of board games with my wife and her family.[mum and dad]Is this a good family game.Please give me your thoughts on this thanks.

I've never played the game, and can't comment, but for one brief moment, I thought you were contemplating purchasing a zeppelin.

If you ever are, by the way, the answer is "yes".

We like Airships a lot. It's competitive, but you you really can't screw another player (except by taking getting the card that they want to have).

There's some strategy involved in knowing when to switch from improving your airship (dice) to pursuing airships directly.

BTW... I agree with William's advice on buying your own zeppelin. If you can get one, go for it!

That's exactly what I thought - and I agree completely!

Airships is OK, but I thought the game was a bit too long for the depth of decisions we were making. Alea Iacta Est is probably worth looking at as well.
