I was wondering what people's thoughts were on this 2-player variant?

Each player plays 2 different Illuminati. Illuminati #1, #3 played by player A and #2, #4 played by player B. (The #'s are for the turn order.)

This seems to me to have the advantage of spreading the groups among more illuminati, giving a little more discussion and targeting of the perceived leader. It is also quite simple to implement. Disadvantage is a little more bookkeeping.

I do plan on primarily playing 4-6 players for this game, but will probably play my first few 2-player to get the hang of it, wondering if this is a great way to learn the game, moreso than the regular 2-player method?
