Okay, so the Fall TV season is almost upon us. I am hoping that this thread will be a good place to share information with fellow Chit Chatters. What’s good? What’s bad? What intrigues you?

I’m only listing brand new shows here. If there’s something particularly good or bad in returning shows, feel free to mention it.

I also made a conscious decision to leave reality TV shows off this list. You can still talk about them, but there’s a lot to list (especially if you include TLC) and I suspect that, overall, they are of less interest to Chit Chatters.

Also, this is not 100% comprehensive. I left off shows that are premiering on Disney, TV Land, MTV and Adult Swim. The last one may be the one people care most about, but it was difficult to find reliable information on the new Adult Swim shows.

If you know anything I left off, let me know.

So here is a list of premiere dates this fall for new scripted shows.

Me, I'm most excited about Terra Nova (the time-traveling show with dinosaurs) and New Girl, a sitcom starring Zooey Deschanel. I don't even care if New Girl is good - I could watch Zooey painting her fingernails for 30 minutes.

Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again.

Probably true, but that's true every year. The trick is teasing out the 5% that aren't. That's why I was hoping people could tell us what they know about the shows.

I like Whitney Cummings's stand-up, so her show has me interested. That's no guarantee it'll be good though. Some comedians translate well to TV, and some don't. We'll see.

Once Upon a Time looks intriguing, as does New Girl.

Yeah, I have no idea what to think of Once Upon a Time or Grimm. High production values, but no idea if they'll be good.

Also, did anyone else go to the website for American Horror Story - WTF?
