in minneapolis for a couple days, and looking for a few games (letters from whitechapel, fury of dracula, claustrophobia, LOTR:LCG expansions, and much more...) I have been to the monster den, and while that is a great store, they didn't have any of the specific games I was looking for....

so does anyone have any suggestions of where I might some of these titles...or jsut another gaming store I might enjoy browsing?

You have to check out Source Comics and Games in Falcon Heights – http://www.sourcecomicsandgames.com/?page_id=10

(Don't worry that their website is out-of-date.)

Also, since you're in Minnesota you should also definitely check out FFG's Event Center. www.ffgec.com. They're actually a full hobby games retail store (aka. not only FFG games), as well as a public gaming space. They're closed on Mondays though. If you're around on Tuesday evening it's usually hopping.

Universe Games on Lake Street in Minneapolis is another spot (http://www.universegames.com/store/index.php?main_page=page&...), and Tower Games also in Minneapolis, but caters more heavily to minis players (although they do carry board games as well): http://www.towergamesmn.com/

Those are the few I tend to frequent.

Good luck!

The Source has almost EVERYTHING you'll want. They also used to have a membership program where you got discounts on purchases - nothing good enough to compete with internet stores, but a nice gesture nonetheless.

It's one of the things I miss the most about moving out of Minneapolis.

I would agree that FFG Event Center and Source are your best bets. We have several other good shops, but none so central or well stocked as those two.
