anyone able to put one of the COG minis next to, say, a Reaper miniature or a 40k space marine for size comparison?

And post a picture, of course.

Hope this helps. Didn't have a marine handy, here is an orc. Gears (Bezerker exception of course) base is maybe 2mm smaller in radius compared to standard warhammer base model.

It looks like the GoW minis are around 35 mm heroic scale.
