Let's say for example that the Healer is in group attack against Varkolak. Using her "Walk In The Light" ability she ignores his special ability and can use any special skills and abilities she may have acquired including Battle Luck Cards.

Question: In this case, can:

A Other players use their Battle Luck Cards on her combat roll?

B)She use her own Battle Luck cards to to help other players?

C) She use Battle Luck cards only in her hand for her combat roll?

Thanks,

Bob

Re: Healer's Walk In The Light Abilty and Battle Luck in Group Attack Against Varkolak
This is the real strength of the Healer above all others and the stronger the General she is facing the more valuable she is to the team.

Healer is in group attack against Varkolak. Using her "Walk In The Light" ability she ignores his special ability and can use any special skills and abilities she may have acquired including Battle Luck Cards.

Question: In this case, can:

A) Other players use their Battle Luck Cards on her combat roll?

Yes. She is not limited against the General, and other players cannot help themselves with these cards but they can help her.

B)She use her own Battle Luck cards to to help other players?

Yes - She can intervene in a way that Varkolak cannot see and assist the other Heroes in the Battle.

C) She use Battle Luck cards only in her hand for her combat roll?

Nope - A & B above. She has no restrictions against a General and this is very powerful against Varkolak as she can also use any Quest Items and abilities as well that she may possess. Additionally, when against Brimstone she is extremely powerful and with enough Red dice able to take the Dragon General down by herself.

She is truly blessed by the Gods for her healing nature.

Thanks - Richard

Sorry for waking up this old thread, but I'm a little bit confused. In the manual for the minion expansions and the alternate generals it says in the "Lord Vileheart" section:

"As is the case with Varkolak, can the Healer use Battle Luck to aid herself? Can other players use Battle Luck to aid her?
If she initiated combat all of the General's Skills are ignored, so anyone can use it. If not, she can use it on her attack, but others could not use it or play it on her."

That is somehow another answer to nearly the same question (as Vakolak and Lord Vileheart have similar effects). So is the answer given in the manual incorrect?

Thanks for clearing this up.
