I posted the following poll, and the formatting seems pretty poor:

Poll: Area control vs. Conquest
The "Area Control" mechanic currently includes some map-conquest games like Small World, which are not accepted by the War Games community as being "real" war games.

Do we need a new mechanic to account for controlling areas on a map, as opposed to controlling whatever areas you want?
Should a "Conquest" (adjacency, graph) mechanic be added to the mechanics list, so these games are not included with "Area Control" games (often of whatever area you want)? In essence, is the inclusion of a map (of whatever form) different enough from controlling whatever areas you want, to deserve its own mechanic listing? Note that this should be the general rule for the game: area conquest games may have occasional adjacency rules and conquest games may have occasional random placement rules. Some games will be exactly on the border and qualify for both mechanics: This is usual.

Map Conquest example: Small World
Area Conquest example: El Grande

(In part, the purpose of this distinction is to allow games like Small World, which appear to be war games, to not dilute genuine war games (as defined by those participating in the war games subdomain).

Putting too much chrome on an automobile doesn't work too well either ...

Well, a point, but then shouldn't the interface not ask if you want to add chrome?

I did a tutorial on polls here: Re: How do I set up a Poll?

So, where did the red come from? How about the dim blue (haze blue?) below the red? Why is the question divided into five sections?? (Normal blue, "bump" blue, big "bump" blue, red (???), unreadable haze blue.)

I have to say, I found the results completely unexpected, and I have a pretty good grasp on how things work here. Admittedly, I think the preview did show this mess, but I figured the preview was bad. The poll results look normal (click on results to see), so this seems to be a legitimate bad behavior in the question part of the coding. I.e., a bug.

I don't see any red in this poll, or in the tutorial pool you linked.

Switch to the questions. If you don't see it, maybe it's a FF 3.6 issue.

I didn't see any red in the questions view.
Then i made my browser window narrower, to take a screenshot. At some point, when the text wrapped into more lines, the red section appeared.

Yep - it's not set up to do a large block of text. I'll add a bug.
