Do dead people still roll dice? And if so, even those that lost both characters?

Only the first player should be rolling dice. If a player is eliminated because he lost both explorers, then he should be skipped when dice are rolled.

We have started playing that instead of dying at all, we just add 3 "load chips" when death result comes up. These get added to treasures when determining load level.

Works wel.

Had a game last night where 2 people sitting next to each other in a 4 player game died. Both me and the guy left alive knew where the treasure was on the lava pit. But if the dead people are alowed to roll the other living guy would have gone first 3 time in a row and been able to get the treasue first.

Doesn't really seem fair.

EDIT* Take actions first, not go first.

Yes dead people should roll, so they can try to stop anyone else winning :) Evil I know

Second, throw all dice and the lowest gets to go first that turn, that way it's more random yet still doesn't unbalance the game.
