I have looked over the game and so far these are changes I propose.

Changes to the AR that should be made:

The AR ship Guerr should be rated 1-1-1-2 as her sisters Drm and Grn

The MIII’s should be withdrawn as they are air to air specialists in the AR air force so there is nothing for them to shoot at and they were not equipped for ground or naval attack.

Only Puc’s should be able to base at Goose Green and Pebble Island as these were both grass strips.

AR armoured units cannot leave the Port Stanley area due to their limited cross country ability

The AR submarine SNT was in refit and unavailable throughout the campaign, she could be activated for a VP representing a supreme effort to get her out to sea.

Changes the AR that could be made:

Refueled A4’s and Eten’s should be able to attack UK naval units in Area 7

The Eten can give up her stealth ability and pick her target

The Eten always hits for two hits per successful attack

The Eten can make up to 2 attacks in the same operation

Losing the Eten costs the AR 1 VP

Naval Unit ratings:

The 25dM seems overrated at 1-4-2-0 for a ship equipped with 8 A4’s and 4 S2 Trackers
I would make her a 0-0-2-0 with the ability to be a mobile base for 2 A4’s marked with an ‘N’ for Naval or conversely a 2-0-2-2 with 2 attacks like the Her and Inv’s 3 or 4 attacks and remove 2 A4’s from play while she is at sea and add them when she is in port. Still mark them an ‘N’ as they are the only 2 A4’s that can operate from her.

Comparing the AR Her and Trn with the UK Cov, Crd, Ex, Gls and Shf all type 42 DD’s:

AR 2-3-2-2 vs UK 0-3-2-1 the AR’s Naval attack is higher because they have Exocets however a 2 Land attack seems too much for the AR and a 0 too little. I would give the Her and the Trn only 1 land attack.

I think all the UK combat ships other than Inv, Her, And, Brl, Bsd, Min, Pen and Arg should have a 1 land attack as well since all have 1 or 2 4.5” at least equal to Drm and Grn’s 1 3.9” The Amazon class frigates in particular made shore bombardments.

Changes to the UK I would make:

The Inv and the Her can use their anti air strength to attack AR units based on the Falklands whether they are doing an operation or not. On May 1 3 Puc were lost to Harrier attacks on the Prot Stanley airfield.

The units 40C, 42C and 45C ignore both the effect of mountains and SF on their combat strengths. They were trained to fight in the mountains of Norway and were an elite unit with their own not shown SF unit the Mountain and Arctic Warfare cadre. They do not generate SF effects themselves just ignore them. They seem underrated at 4 so this would make them more special.

Changes for both:

All attacks against air units in the Falklands Islands Zone subtract 1 from their anti air attack strengths to reflect the difficulty of getting a radar lock in the clutter of the hills.

Haven't played the game, but are the SeaSlug SAM considered as a SSM also?

Sea Slug have no real effect on the game same as in the actual campaign.

It was a first generation system and not effective except as a blind barrage.

I heard that Eric Harvey posted some rule errata and revisions on this game. Any comments?

Thanks,
